FIRST CHURCH VOLUNTEER TEAM FOR FIRST FOOD & FRIENDS

Come to Fellowship Hall at 9:00am. Clean-up is done by 1:00pm. If you are willing to come that Saturday, it is very important to email Karen Merrick at firstname.lastname@example.org or sign up on the clipboard at summer worship today. BRING YOUR CLOTHES TO THE CHURCH!
If you have clothes that you are hoping to get rid of, please bring them to the church. We have clothing bins here at the church to fill. All proceeds from the clothing bins will support our summer youth mission trips.
RECYCLE BATTERIES OPPORTUNITIES
How does one respond to the mandate to “recycle batteries responsibly.” Where can you take them?! Good News! Our church’s “Eco-Committee” has two recommendations: (1) you can take your batteries to Target in East Liberty and deposit them in the bin marked “Electronics” at the bottom of the escalator, or (2) you
can bring them to church on Sunday morning and put them in the “Recycle Batteries” bin located in the Gathering Space before or after worship. Please no car batteries. Questions, speak to Dave or email RevDFKeller@aol.com.
WORSHIP JAM: LET EVERYTHING YOU ARE PRAISE GOD! WEDNESDAYS 7pm
Worship Jam involves your whole self in worship. Each week, we take a verse or two from the lectionary readings of the week and explore it through interactive, multi-sensory, and playful ways. Worship Jam is a community that seeks and celebrates the spiritual essence of life through earth-based traditions, Christian mysticism, and scientific revelation. Please join us any Wednesday at 7pm in the chapel.
